Three questions came in from playtesting, and all three led to changes:
- "Why does it always suggest fighters?" Because it always picked the cheapest ship that fit. Now Next step aims for a mixed fleet: it suggests the class your fleet lacks most and would rather wait for resources than add one more of the same. Your deputy builds the same way.
- "What do the pilots actually do?" Tap a face in the academy for a pilot's profile: age, home world, what they are doing right now, experience to the next rank and what every trait does – in plain words, also on phones.
- "Can the map show stationed ships?" Sectors with stationed ships now carry a green badge with the number of ships guarding them.
