The swarm queen
Seasons now have a finale. In the last two days, something big settles at the core of the galaxy: the swarm queen.
- As long as no commander holds the core, she guards it with the strongest swarm in the galaxy, flying in front as an extra capital ship.
- She is a boss fight: in our simulations, a fleet at the command limit of a fully upgraded bridge wins about two fights in five. A medium fleet has no chance.
- Already hold the core when the final days begin? Then she leaves you alone – holding early pays off.
- Pirate raids on the leaders come twice as often in those two days, and the season line tells you when the final days have begun.
