Alliances
Do alliances get anything out of it – shared resources, an alliance victory at the end of the season? Quite a lot. Allies never attack each other and show up in their own colour. You can station ships in an ally's sector, supply lines run through allied space, and map marks tell your allies where to attack or where you need help. Every season brings four alliance missions with resources for every member. When the season ends, every alliance gets its place among the alliances of its galaxy, and the Hall of Fame names the best alliance of each season. Resources can't be shared directly – that would invite second accounts that only exist to feed a main account.
Why only three members? A galaxy holds six commanders. With alliances of three there are always at least three others to compete with.
Can an alliance play across several galaxies? Membership stays when you are in different galaxies, but the benefits only work in the same galaxy. To get together mid-season, take a jump gate and jump to your allies – see Alliances in this guide.
Can somebody stop my flagship from jumping? Yes. The gate charges for an hour, everybody in the galaxy sees it, and it has no protection while it charges. Whoever takes the gate stops the jump.
Is there a quicker way to invite friends than reading out a code? Open the alliance window on your phone and tap Share invite – it opens the share sheet for WhatsApp and the like. Whoever opens the link and signs in only has to tap Join.
The galaxy
Does each galaxy have its own name? Yes – every galaxy gets a fixed name, shown in the season line, the ranking and the Hall of Fame.
Can I see the jump gates from the start, like the core? Yes. The three jump gates of a galaxy sit at its rim and are always visible on the map with a violet ring.
Is there a map of all galaxies? Not yet. Each galaxy plays on its own; an overview of all galaxies is on the list.
Can I have a friend list and profile pictures? Yes. Tap any name for a commander's profile, pick your own picture in the account window, and add friends with your personal link under Friends in the ranking.
Pilots and ships
Can I set my own formation and see the synergies? Yes – in the hangar. Pick a row per ship class; the preview highlights ships that get shields from a frigate or guardian next to them.
Can I put every pilot in the best ship with one tap? Yes: Best pilots for my ships in the hangar.
Can I add someone as a friend from their profile? You can send them your friend link from there – friends are added with a personal link, and the other side decides.
When a ship is destroyed, is its pilot gone? No. The pilot always survives and goes to the infirmary for one to four hours, depending on the size of the ship. Afterwards they are back with their name, rank, experience and traits.
Is there research for the academy? Yes: the academy module under Research trains pilots faster with every level and later unlocks training paths. The infirmary has no module; healing time depends on the ship that was lost.
Can I take an order out of a queue? Yes. Every order in the shipyard, the academy and research has a small ✕; cancelling gives you the full cost back.
Playing
How good are the AI generals – the deputy and the bots? See How good are the generals? in the strategies chapter: whole seasons simulated, per deputy order and per bot style.
I tap a button and nothing seems to happen. Why? The game tells you why an order can't start – queue full, fleet full, not enough resources. The message floats above everything, including the open bridge, for a few seconds.
Where is the battle simulator? A button at the bottom of the bridge, and in the settings.
